Laurelhurst Kitchen Remodel
My clients had a tired and dark older kitchen. The cabinets were falling apart, and the stove barely worked. There was a small opening to the rest of the house, and only one small window.
We opened up the room to the rest of the house, installed french doors as a new entry from the rear yard to an ipe deck with steps. Two large windows were installed along with all new sapele mahogany cabinets, appliances, white oak flooring, calacatta marble and soapstone counters.
Floor to ceiling light blue pantry cabinets. Flanked by painted upper shelves, with mahogany drawers below. Painted floor to ceiling pull-out cabinet to the left.
A mahogany island cabinet with calacatta marble top. The cabinet features wide drawers and eating niche. New french doors can be seen in the background.
Painted Liebherr refrigerator & freezer with painted custom door panels. One the left I built a painted pull-out cabinet.
Inset enameled cast iron farm sink set in a mahogany cabinet. Surrounding the sink are black soap stone counters.
Fagor range and cooktop set in a mahogany cabinet. Also features a Fagor Hood with soapstone tile backsplash. White oak flooring throughout.

A new kitchen entrance with french doors was added. An ipe deck with steps was also built.
