The original wooden front porch of this house had fallen apart, and for several years my clients had just 2 rudimentary steps at the entry to their home.

We poured a monolithic concrete slab, which was pinned to the house’s foundation. The new deck, which included an inset step, was veneered with solid blue stone. This same material had previously been used in their landscaping.

The new rear deck, built of ipe, completed the new entry to their remodeled kitchen from the rear yard and garden. This deck also had an inset step, and a blue stone bottom step.
