My client’s original cedar deck was 25 years old. The deck boards, railings and posts were all rotting and the deck was dangerous and unsightly.
Dane designed and built the new deck using the original footprint, but with built in benches featuring curved backs, an inset gas barbecue, and a stone countertop. All built with ipe, the wood is oiled, and the boards are blind-fastened.
The original cedar deck was rotten and unsafe.
